The nature trails are the perfect cure for the blues with the sun shining high in the sky and the amazing plants and animals surrounding you will be sure to boost your mood. The bright colors and sounds are all thanks to three rotary clubs who developed the land. The environmental center is used for gardening, exercise classes and summer camp. In fact my mom knew about my interest in seeing Four Mile Cove ecological preserve so she bought a pamphlet to help me learn more about it. I wasn't much of a reader so I didn't really learn that much from the text but more from the beautiful picture.
 The Preserve contains a seasonal kayak rental and even though I wasn't much of a kayaker or ever will be it still sounded fun Because of all the plant life you see on the course.

The beach is very friendly and even with the presence of plenty of canines the beach is kept clean. I find it is an important place for people and pets to join together and put away differences and focus on their similarities. My family has two great danes and the dogs and my family have a great time when we go. There's naturally preserve and picnic tables incase you get tired of running by the water. Dogs must be on a leash when near the natural preserve.

Not only are there places to eat and chill out, but there are also many shops that you can check out. My personal favorites are Downtown House of Pizza and Scoops on first for some great treats. After you’ve chowed down, walk on over to First Street to The Franklin Shops and get yourself something pretty. Not in the mood to shop? Just enjoy the scenery and snap a few pictures.
