My first swim meet with mom

Anthony was arrested for crimes. He didn’t commit. The police said he was involved in two murders, but he was innocent. He thought it was a mistake and would be quickly cleared, but it turned into the start of a long nightmare.

Even though there was no real evidence and he had no proof, he wasn’t near the Crime scene, the juries still found him guilty. He was sentenced to death.

He spent nearly 30 years in a small sale on death row, alone almost every day. He used his imagination and books to survive. He made friends with the other inmates and try to keep a positive attitude, despite the terrible situation.

To help the others on death row hit and starts a book club. They read and discussed books, which helps Give them hope and also help them escape their pain for a while.

One of the hardest moments for Hinton was when his mother died while he was still in prison. He couldn’t say goodbye or go to her funeral. He felt crushed but hold on to her memory and love to stay strong.

Lawyer, Brian Stevenson’s in his team at EJI Believed in hidden innocence. They took his keys and worked hard to prove he was wrongly convicted. He gave Hinton hope that someone was finally fighting for him.

The Supreme Court agreed to look at his case. It was a big moment. They saw that his child had serious problems, like his defense lawyer not hiring a good expert to prove his innocence. It was a huge step forward.

Apple released the very first iPhone, and it changed to people used technology every day. Phones became more than just for calling, they turned into mini computers in our pockets. It totally changed how we talk, learn, even play games.
