While this particular book in the series was really good (and the first that I could find on google), both sets of 5-book series for Percy Jackson were peak fiction. I think I was in fourth grade when I read all ten books for the first time and I've reread them all at least 7 times by now. These books got me really interested in Greek mythology and even inspired a vacation to Greece and Italy with my parents to see the sites and artifacts they talk about in the books. 10/10

Men in Black trilogy

While the three main movies were released over 15 years (1997-2012)... all three were debatbly some of the most impactful movies to the genre of sci-fi. They were all revolutionary works that changed the movie industry during their respective times. The CGI in the first movie was spectacular for a 90's film and all three movies had the best balance of humor and action. Iconic.

When I first read this book, I was physically giddy to turn the next page. Oh my God was this an amazing book(s?). I always love books/media that have to do with people having crazy powers and insane fights with wild plottwists and this has all of that. It's. So. Good.

This book is incredibly dear to me and probably my favorite book of all time. My grandpa actually pulled a few strings and got me to meet Neal Shusterman a few years ago, he also came to visit my middle school over zoom during the middle of Covid. This book has no flaws to me, it changed me while reading it. The sequels are debatebly even better and they hit the spot every single time. Dystopian is sick.
