Here are some fractured pieces of glass in which the point of force is visible in the top section of glass.

This chunk of glass was broken by a hammer and nail. There are visible redial cracks on the right side of the glass. We can tell that this is the anterior part of the shard due to the fact of the cracks physically being felt on its surface.

This whole glass was broken by hammer and nail. It was struck three times along side on the vertically placed tape. There are visible number indicating which crack originated first.

This is a back side picture of a glass shard. We can see in this picture that it is indeed the back side because of the smooth surface and it doesn't any have physical cracks on its surface.

This Lead crystal glass shard had a refractive index of 1.3 which was similar to that of the clove oil(1.53) But is didnt making it completely see through/

Tempered glass has a refractive index of 1.543 which is close to that of Clove oil(1.535)Making is almost completely invisible while submergered.

Unlike the vegetable oil the Clove oil has a refractive index of 1.53 which closely correlates with the window glass fragment. Making is less visible.

When these glass fragments were submerged in water they clearly showed their beck lines. Meaning that their refractive indexes differ.
