She saved many slaves from slavery (~300). Additionally, she risked her life to save these slaves, if anyone caught her she would be dead right on the spot. Continuing on, she's more anti-slavery than the rest of them because other abolitionists did not sacrifice their lives like Harriet Tubman did, she knew she would be dead if she got caught, but she still continued to help slaves get to freedom.

Frederick Douglass was a former slave, except he could read and write. He wrote an autobiography which had a massive influence, especially since it was from an actual slave's point of view and not from their master's point if view. Additionally, he lectured others on slavery and he used his lecture fees on aiding runaway slaves. Which is why he's the second most anti-slavery out of everyone else, he was a former slave who escaped and wrote an autobiography about himself/slavery and he lectured others about slavery.

William Lloyd Garrison wrote an anti-newspaper called "The Liberator." To add on, he was one of the founders of the American Anti-Slavery Society and he joined a movement in Boston. Furthermore, he demanded an immediate, no compromise end to slavery and he encouraged Northerners to secede from the Union. Garrison was the third most anti-slavery person because he was one of the founders of the American Anti-Slavery Society, which was a big deal and he joined a movement in Boston to try and end slavery.

The Grimke Sisters were abolitionists who were originally from the south who moved to the north so that they wouldn't get attacked in the south. Additionally, they were active abolitionists who wrote anti-slavery pamphlets and lectured everyone of every gender about slavery. Plus, they freed the slaves that their mother gave them to show how much they disliked slavery. They were the 2nd to last anti-slavery because all they did was lecture people about slavery, they didn't do anything else (besides write pamphlets!) that would help support ending slavery, they just encouraged others to help in ending slavery.

Hinton Helper wrote a book against slavery, however that was all he did. He did criticize slavery, but only because non-rich whites could not afford a slave, therefore damaging their economy. Thus, he was placed last because all he did was write a book about slavery and he was a white that would've said slavery was fine if every single white, wealthy or not, had a slave. Thus is why he was the least anti-slavery because he would've agreed slavery was fine if everyone had slaves.

Abraham Lincoln is mixed because he believed in personal freedom and the monstrosity of slavery, however he had campaigned not to interfere with slavery in the South. Additionally, he wanted to stop slavery from expanding to the Western territory, this would slowly die down slavery until it's gone. On the other hand, he didn't do anything to stop slavery directly because he wanted to preserve the union more than stopping slavery.

John C. Calhoun is 2nd due to his actions. He was once vice president then stepped down to be a Senator. He had a very big impact in Congress, so much that he made sure that they couldn't pass any laws about slavery and he spent his time and energy arguing about the states' rights. Additionally, he rallied Southern congressmen to fight against anti-slavery laws.
