This topic is important to us because all three of us truly believe that it is live babies that they are killing. We believe that this is murder. We also believe that everyone should have a fair shot at life. We believe that all life is equal.

We have about a dozen volunteers that work for us with the same view and goal as us. We have volunteers of all ages ranging from old to young.

We also believe that abortion will always be legal but what we would like to do it minimize the amount of abortions that happen and have more restrictions put on abortion. instead of Canadians being able to have a full term abortion, we would like to attempt to make the abortions available only for second term abortions. We would also like to educate everyone of every age. We would like to make options other then abortion more available

We would do this by raising awareness. We have our volunteers travel to different schools and educate our children on safe sex, they also make the children aware of what the consequences may be if they have sex with or without protection. We go through the abortion process with the kids, get testimonies (from both good and bad experiences) of a women that had an abortion.

We can see evidence of this being effective because we are educating young people not brainwashing them to think that abortion is the only option. We want the children to make their own opinion but we want them to be educated on what really happens and the other options.

Our organization is funded by volunteers and donations. We get only a little bit of money from the Conservative government. We would like more money to put towards different things such as paying a few of our very dedicated volunteers and raising awareness with things such as blogs, flyers and advertisements. 

Our funding strategies are effective because there are people that believe in the cause and have the heart to give. We don't require any one to give we ask that you believe in fight for our cause and if you feel, in your heart that you should give then please do.

The mission of National Right to Life is to protect and defend the most fundamental right of humankind, the right to life of every innocent human being from the beginning of life to natural death.

National Right to Life carries out its lifesaving mission by promoting respect for the worth and dignity of every individual human being, born or unborn, including unborn children from their beginning; those newly born; persons with disabilities; older people; and other vulnerable people, especially those who cannot defend themselves.  Our areas of concern include abortion, infanticide, euthanasia, assisted suicide, and the killing of unborn children for their stem cells.

National Right to Life works to achieve its mission through education, legislation and political action.  Its activities include  providing research, educational materials,  information and leadership training for effective right-to-life citizenship as well as sponsoring legislation which will advance the protection of human life and supporting the election of public officials who defend life.

The evidence that can be seen that their strategies are working simply because they are the largest Pro-Life organization in North America. Also their website is very knowledgeable and educating. National Right to Life has many ways you can get involved and are constantly having speakers speak across North America.

You can get involved in so so many ways. For example, any high school student can write an essay on Pro-Life and win money, there is newspapers, outreach centers internships. Really there are unlimited opportunities to get involved.

What is their mission?

The object of Life Canada is the establishment and operation of a national association of local and provincial educational pro-life groups across Canada.  We act as a public voice for our member groups on life issues of a national scope, coordinating national media and educational campaigns. We provide for the publication of information for further dissemination, and the holding of educational lectures, public and private meetings, seminars and conferences on life issues. We work with other organizations with similar objectives in projects and activities that promote respect for human life. We educate individuals on how to critically evaluate messages disseminated by media, government authorities and agents, academia, and special interest groups, thereby enabling them to participate fully and effectively in discussions on life issues and public policy. We make representations to governments at all levels, government agencies and school boards on matters of public policy relating to controversial life issues, within the limits of the Income Tax Act. We provide information on counseling and referral services to the public with regard to unforeseen pregnancies, post-abortion syndrome, post-adoption and post-birth difficulties.

What evidence can be seen of their strategies’ effectiveness?

The most recent known statistics (2008) indicate that more than 2/3 of Canadian abortions are performed on teens and women less than 29 years of age, with 20 – 24 year olds having the majority of abortions. However, due to underreporting, it is difficult to determine exact figures. In Canada, the number of abortions performed annually is believed to be in excess of 100,000. Ontario is traditionally thought to have close to half of the country’s abortions with the most recent statistics suggesting about 51,000 abortions are performed in the province each year.

Life Canada develops initiatives focusing on the abortion-minded woman aged 18 -29 with content built around the already-developed profiles of income, education level, social habits, and health considerations. Initiatives makes effective use of social media and interactive websites as well as targeted use of traditional advertising and resource distribution. Life Canada has established that the most effective method for traditional advertising and resource distribution is through its network of existing organizations across the country. With 69 member and over 100 non-member groups and a significant number of other organizations, most major urban populations can be reached.
