wanted to be educated and applied for a college when he was 11 but got rejected .  studied hard his first year and then coasted , earned respect of his profeceser in langue arts including Greek and Latin read a paper about how dueling was bad. 
strong views in college that changed... Hypocrite? maybe selfish.tried to become a minister but he didn't like it. his wife (Theodosia) died because of cancer. Burr didn't get elected for president, hes vice president. His daughter remained his only true love. Burr ran for governor in 1804.
