For unit vocabulary, the students will help me add words every unit.

To get more familiar with words you will hear often.

To support spelling fluency, such as words with vowel teams.

To help them with their reading, if they see a word that they might not know there is a good chance it will be on the word wall.

They can use this wall when they write, it enhances their vocabulary while getting them to critically think about whether the word makes sense or not.
