"good moring pamilya! two quick suggestions from my little scattered thoughts today:

- I predict that many social events for me will be on Saturday. I motion to move cleaning day assigned to me and ---- to another day - ideally Monday maybe?

- I have been really blessed by the two last family iDs. I like that we haven't been having as much house-keeping conversations (ie chores, video game rules, etc.). However, these are important conversations to have as well. I motion to intentionally talk about  house-keeping things once every month (1/4 family IDs).

We shared our Christian journey with each other, where we were in the past, where we are right now, and where we see ourselves moving forward. It’s really a blessing to have life on life conversations and we got to know each other a lot better. I also shared with them one of our topics yesterday from ID workshop, the importance of humility in the Christian journey. With that, I also apologized to them both for my shortcomings and not being intentional enough. I’m a fairly new Dgroup leader, so please pray for me as I walk and grow with my Dgroup. Inspired by Kuya Noriel and Ate Edelweiss' demo, we thought about the week that transpired and how we can put Romans 8:28-29 and Philippians 2:3-8 into practice in our own marriage.

It was actually very timely, because we got into an argument just the day before. It was a very small quarrel but one that keeps coming up. We realized that the root cause is just our pride and selfishness. If we can learn Christlike humility (that ONE thing), we won't get into that situation anymore.

Karlo: I'm sorry for letting my temper get the best of me. I will learn to control my emotions and to always give you the benefit of the doubt. I thank you for being patient with me as I work on my temper issues.

Bevs: I'm sorry for initiating serious and confrontational conversations in the car. I will learn to control the tone of my voice and choose the words that I say especially when you are driving. I thank you for driving for me, I know it's not an easy thing to do and you need to be able to focus on your driving to keep both of us safe on the road.

We finished the ID with a prayer, for the Lord to help us grow in this area of our lives. So far, we had been enjoying the next few car trips we had after the ID singing worship songs and telling corny jokes to each other. The workshop reminded us not to "react" when listening on how to improve in being more Christlike. We learned that both of us needs to grow more in listening.
