Basic practice questions for rounding to the nearest 100 using colors!!

Identify the place value you want to round to (e.g., nearest whole number, nearest tenth, etc.).
Look at the digit immediately to the right of the place value you’re rounding to:
- If this digit is 5 or greater, round the target digit up by one.
- If this digit is less than 5, keep the target digit the same.
Change all digits to the right of the target place value to zero (if rounding to a whole number) or drop them (if rounding to a decimal place).
