         <description><![CDATA[<div>"they soon... became intoxicated...by the terrible success of their imposture&nbsp;(acting)" (Doc D) The witchcraft accusers let their power of pleading the "witches" guilty go to their heads and got wrapped up in it.&nbsp; Also, the poorer community that lived in the west half of Salem accused the rich who lived in the Eastern part in order to gain power over them. As you can see, domination was a common goal during the witch&nbsp; trials of 1692.</div>]]></description>
