There's a redevelopment of the former goods yards next door ()and there's another development called Woolwich Reach

The Sunshine Café was a restaurant that formed part of Margate’s Dreamland Cinema Complex which opened in 1935. The Café itself had ceased operations in 2003. The Dreamland Cinema is a listed building that has been undergoing renovations since its closure. It was used as art exhibition venue in 2019 in conjunction with Turner Contemporary’s hosting of the Turner Prize.

Exhibition „we must cultivate our garden” raised funds for new arts and education charity The Sixteen Trust. Pieces created by members of the local community who have been attending weekly art workshops will be on display.

All three sites are connected to one another in their own unique ways especially through their connection to central London. With Isaac’s site being in London, with Harry’s, Nicole’s, and Jaz’ having direct links to London from their site seaside locations and vice versa, all out sites are connected through the journey. Each site also has or has had a pier located near them at some point in their time with the seaside locations being important to the ephemeral atmosphere of the locations.
