         <description><![CDATA[<div>Half-lives are longest near F-19 (whose half-life is effectively infinite). Isotopes with fewer neutrons have MUCH shorter half-lives (~10^-20 or less seconds) than isotopes with more neutrons. Half-lives decrease as the number of neutrons deviates from the ideal. </div>]]></description>
