If we are able to get buy-in right when they enter the school, are we going to see the years following drop as well? How can we get and maintain buy-in.

1. The "D and F rate went down for the English 1P class during the 2023 - 2024 Semester One grades.

2. The Schoolwide D/F rate has gone down over the past five years. :)

What were the "D and F" rates prior to the Pandemic?

3. The year 2021 was right after the students were online during the Pandemic, so most of the freshman were not completing their assignments. I think there was a serious gap as a result, which is why the year 2021-2022 Semester One grades were low.

   Why are the "D and F" grades so significantly higher for English 2P than English 1P for year 2023-2024?

-1P is making consistently making progress in D/F rate

-Schoolwide D/F rate is decreasing

-Overall, the 3P D/F rate is relatively low

-Vertical alignment!!

-Why are sophomores struggling so much?

• ERWC has increased from the 22-23 semester to the 23-24 semester. --Why?

• English 2P has a 30% rate or higher across most semesters

C2-AP students are moving towards deeper reading which will strengthen their writing.

C3-Students are engaging in the learning environment.
