I really see the connection between modern teacher and this book study. I also see the need to include student voice in determining class codes, SOPs, etc. My biggest concern is determining what needs to be listed out and what is common sense, or something that just needs to be stated a few times. For example, if I have a drinking fountain in my classroom, I feel just letting the students know verbally when they should get a drink seems like it would cover it. Having an SOP for every little detail seems a bit too much.
