prejudice refers to biased thinking, it is judging someone based on stereotypes and assumptions without 100% knowing the person or situation. While discrimination on the other hand, refers to the actions against a group of people. Discrimination can be based on race, ethnicity, age, religion, health, and other categories. Prejudice is more about thoughts and feelings, while discrimination is about actions and behaviors. - Andrea

1.) Prejudice is like making assumptions about someone before really getting to know them, based on things like their appearance or background. 2.) Racism, though, is like taking those assumptions to a whole other level—it's actively treating someone unfairly just because of their race, which is never okay. They both basically boil down to judging people without giving them a fair chance, and that's something we should all work to change. 3.) Prejudice is like having a gut feeling about someone without really knowing them, while racism is when that feeling leads to treating them unfairly because of their race. Prejudice might be thinking "they're probably not like us," but racism takes it further by saying "they're not as good as us because of who they are." Both are hurtful, but racism carries the weight of history and systemic inequality.

Prejudice is an assumption, bias. Discrimination is like an unfair treatment to other just because of one's certain trait. Prejudice is like judging someone silently, while discrimination is telling someone that you're judging them and you now treat them differently (usually in an unfair way)

1.What is prejudice? Give an example

Prejudice is a preconceived opinion or judgment about a person or group based on stereotypes, rather than on direct experience or evidence. For example, assuming someone is lazy because of their ethnicity without knowing anything about their work ethic is a form of prejudice.

2.What discrimination is

Discrimination happens when an employer treats one employee less favourably than others. It could mean a female employee being paid less than a male colleague for doing the same job, or an employee from a minority ethnic community being refused the training opportunities offered to other colleagues.

There are specific laws against some types of discrimination (called 'unlawful discrimination'). If your employer treats you less favourably for an unlawful reason, you may be able to take action. If your employer treats you unfairly for any other reason, this is not unlawful discrimination.
