- story boards to provide a basis for recounting past events/themes covered and as a guide for nervous students and a stimulus for memory in oral exam conditions.
- story telling like Chinese whispers- with an even number have students in a circle, they first tell each other a story, then turn to the person next to them and tell the story of their partner, then turn back to hear the next story etc...until there is a full round of stories.
