AI creates fake news that spreads false information at high speed, compromising everything from elections to health. This false information created by artificial intelligence is a very serious issue for the entire population and governments of the world.

2. The explanation of AI with fake news makes it difficult, especially to see if the report is false or true, because there is a lot of manipulation and creation of fake profiles manipulating as if they were real people.

3. Identification of Stakeholders

Social media platforms and AI companies such as Meta, TikTok, and Google, and others are governments, newspapers and journalists, NGOs, and politicians. They can use it for both good and evil.

4. Matrix

High power with high interest: government and social networks that can regulate with content removal technology

High power with low interest: AI companies that train their machines

Low power with high interest: social network users and NGOs because they are manipulated for engagement

Low power with low interest: people who do not use social networks frequently

5. Prioritizing government and platforms should involve regulation, as these companies that provide AI services should be monitored. Civilians should urge governments for more objective laws. This helps to monitor better and have tools for it. Real-time risk reduction by promoting propaganda to help identify fake news.

6.This tool for publishing false news brings more harm than good, as the damage from fake news can be even worse, especially as happened during the 2019 pandemic.

Ethical outcome: Support platforms to identify fake news, such as writing that it was created by AI. The government should create more specific laws and propaganda on the subject for the population, focusing on transparency and true information.

Raissa

The ethical issue involves a company planning to release facial recognition technology that does not perform equally for all users, raising concerns about fairness, bias, and potential discrimination. While the company aims to generate profit and meet deadlines, releasing an imperfect product could harm certain groups and damage trust. Key stakeholders include investors, company management, customers, affected groups whose faces are not accurately recognized, government regulators, and employees. The Power–Interest Grid visually maps these stakeholders by categorizing them based on their level of power and interest, helping prioritize engagement and decision-making. For example, investors and management are placed in the high power–high interest quadrant, while customers are high interest but lower power. Applying a utilitarian ethical framework, the most ethical decision is to delay the product release and improve the technology, ensuring it benefits the greatest number of people while minimizing harm and promoting fairness.

https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-49489154

BBC News.
