I don't frown because its my time of the month, I'm disappointed in the people that take things lightly because

"It hasn't happened to me."
"If it does happen why doesn't she report it."
"What was she wearing?"
"Why was she alone?"
"She doesn't want to talk about it because she doesnt have any proof."

We arent daughters, sisters, mothers, we aren't brave we're terrified.

We have been trained the moment we are aware of how dangerous it is to be a girl.

I am a feminist because i know about the girls in India being punished for being on their periods.

I am a feminist because even though our earth is dying i can still make a difference.

I am a feminist because i want my friends to be able to be whoever they want to become, for their family and mine to accept that anyone and everyone can love who they love.

I am a feminist because the future should be made brighter by all of us.
