My parents thought that I was prepared but it turned out I indeed was not. My mom would remind me everyday, and it got to the point were I would start to cry a lot because I felt that I wasn't good enough. She herself used to cry a lot too. I tried to swallow this feeling, and make her forget, and to forget myself but we never forgot. From then on I started to redeem myself by getting good grades in my new school. My parents aren't the type to bully me and are generally very good to me, but that time was a real blow to my self esteem, and to their perspective of me. I overcame this by taking time to breathe and actually taking the time to take in what I understood and using what we were given with extra research to be able to understand what we were learning about and it was able to help me.

We can show power at Hamilton grange by helping others and normilizing asking questions because sometimes people can be scared to ask questions but if we normalize asking questions we could help each other.
