Roberts School District. I have been teaching for 15 years. Most of those years were spent in kindergarten, but I am finishing my 3rd year in 2nd grade. I LOVE it! They are "big" kids to me and I get to really teach content. They are funny and think I am pretty so it is a win-win LOL I love having some of the youngest students and fostering the love of learning in them. I try to give them a sense of community and belonging. There is something intriguing about working with older students and helping them navigate through this crazy world we live in. Being a kid is so much harder than it was when we were young. Knowing I can be a safe place for them, help them see the bigger picture and plan for the future gives me a sense of peace.
