Scientists believe that California's Yosemite National Park was eroded by powerful slow moving glaciers that carved through granite creating shear cliffs and a deep valleys.  Many people travel and camp in this National Park each year.  Summer is an especially wonderful time to visit.  Today you will have the opportunity to take a virtual field trip of this beautiful park full of wonderful views from high peaks and waterfalls to the green valley below.  Enjoy!
