Scientific Management is the structuring of individual jobs to maximize efficiency and productivity of work. This actually pretty new, and has only been around for about 100 years. Early management pioneers such as, Robert Owen, Mary Parker Follette and Huge Munsterberg were the ones that studied the effects of management in the work place. Studies such as what effects the "flow" of the workplace; like movement and placement of things. All of this is a part of the evolution of human resource function.

A way that a person can make any job into the job that they love. Not everyone sees their job the same, even if they do the same thing. Some people go above and beyond the spectrum of their job, to make the job more enjoyable. When people love what they do they usually more proactive and efficient at what they do. It also relieves a lot of stress that the workers may have too. Stress can have a significant effect on how people behave in the workplace.
