As our first activity, we went to Barcelona, to the Fira Montjuïc, to learn about the possible university study paths that my classmates would take two years later.

Com a primera activitat, vam anar a Barcelona, a la Fira de Montjuïc, per conèixer els possibles itineraris d’estudis universitaris que els meus companys de classe seguirien dos anys després.

I watched the Barcelona match together with David.

Amb David vaig veure el partit del Barcelona.

We went to visit the grandmother, and along the way, we saw the Cathedral of Centelles.

Vam anar a visitar la àvia i, pel camí, vam veure la Catedral de Centelles.

After visiting the grandmother, we stayed in Centelles and went to a restaurant called El Portal, where we ate Moro, a typical dish made of fried pig snouts.

Després de visitar la meva àvia, vam quedar-nos a Centelles i vam anar a un restaurant anomenat El Portal, on vam menjar el Moro, un plat típic fet amb nasos de porc fregits.

One evening in Centelles, they explained the "Dice Game" to me, and we played together.

Una nit a Centelles, em van explicar el "Joc dels daus" i vam jugar junts.

One morning we went to see the waterfalls of Centelles. Many years ago, during drought periods, people used to go there to wash and drink. Over time, that place became a small tourist attraction.

Un matí vam anar a veure les cascades de Centelles. Fa molts anys, durant períodes de sequera, la gent hi anava per rentar-se i beure. Amb el temps, aquell lloc es va convertir en una petita atracció turística.

I went around with David, and he let me enter the Cathedral of Vic.

He anat a passejar amb David i em va deixar entrar a la Catedral de Vic.

I was out with friends, and we climbed a hill where we admired the view from the Vic seminary.

Era amb amics, vam pujar a un turó i vam admirar la panoràmica des del seminari de Vic.

Shortly after, we went to eat together at König, and during this experience, I went back there several times because I liked it a lot the first time.

Poc després vam anar a menjar junts al König, i durant aquesta experiència hi vaig tornar diverses vegades perquè em va agradar molt la primera vegada.

That evening we all went dancing together at Summum 11, a small venue that occasionally organizes themed parties. That night, we had to wear pajamas; in fact, the name of the event was Pijamada.

Aquella nit vam anar tots junts a ballar al Summum 11, un local petit que de tant en tant organitza nits temàtiques. Aquella nit calia anar vestits de pijama; de fet, el nom de la festa era Pijamada.

On April 13th, the Copper Market is held in Vic, during which typical dishes are cooked, such as this chicken sandwich, accompanied by a jug of wine from which people drink directly.

El 13 d’abril se celebra el Mercat del Coure a Vic, durant el qual es cuinen plats típics, com aquest entrepà de pollastre, acompanyats d’una gerra de vi de la qual es beu directament.

David took me to watch a Barcelona match.

David em va portar a veure un partit del Barcelona.

When my family came to visit me, we went to visit Barcelona and Girona. Right now, we are at the Sagrada Família.

Quan la meva família va venir a visitar-me, vam anar a visitar Barcelona i Girona. En aquest moment, ens trobem a la Sagrada Família.

On April 23rd, in Spain, the feast of Sant Jordi is celebrated, a very important holiday in Catalonia. By tradition, the man gives a flower to the woman, and the loved one reciprocates with a book.

El 23 d’abril, a Espanya, se celebra la festa de Sant Jordi, una festivitat molt arrelada a Catalunya. Per tradició, l’home regala una flor a la dona, i l’enamorada correspon amb un llibre.

When we went to Girona, we visited the oldest part and the historic center.

Quan vam anar a Girona, vam visitar la part més antiga i el nucli antic.

We also saw the Girona bridge called the Eiffel Bridge, built by Gustave Eiffel.

També vam veure el pont de Girona anomenat Pont Eiffel, construït per Gustave Eiffel.

On May 10th, in Girona, the Temps de Flors is celebrated, a festival during which many floral arrangements are displayed throughout the city.

El 10 de maig, a Girona, se celebra el Temps de Flors, un festival durant el qual s’exposen moltes composicions florals arreu de la ciutat.

On May 16th, we went to Barcelona to attend the celebration for Barcelona's league title victory.

El 16 de maig vam anar a Barcelona per assistir a la celebració de la victòria del campionat del Barça.

On May 23rd, it was Culture Day, and we watched some videos about the different ethnic groups present in this school. There was also a stand offering small cups of Sobolo.

El 23 de maig era el Dia de la Cultura i vam veure alguns vídeos sobre les diferents ètnies presents en aquesta escola. També hi havia una parada que oferia petits gots de Sobolo.

Sobolo is a traditional Ghanaian drink made from dried hibiscus flowers.

El Sobolo és una beguda tradicional de Ghana feta amb flors d’hibisc seques.

We designed robots and made them compete against each other.

Hem dissenyat robots i els hem fet competir entre ells.

L'ULTIM DIA

This presentation is about my Erasmus experience made possible thanks to my school. It was an intercultural exchange between me and a Spanish boy named Ot.

Aquesta presentació tracta sobre la meva experiència Erasmus viscuda gràcies a la meva escola. Va ser un intercanvi intercultural entre mi i un noi espanyol que es diu Ot.

On January 12th, Ot arrived in Italy to be hosted by my family for about three months. On March 23rd, Ot and I went to Spain, and from that day his family hosted me until June 6th.

El 12 de gener, l’Ot va arribar a Itàlia per ser acollit per la meva família durant uns tres mesos. El 23 de març, l’Ot i jo vam anar a Espanya i, des d’aquell dia, la seva família em va acollir fins al 6 de juny.

The city where I stayed is called Vic, and it is located in Catalonia, which is a region of Spain.

La ciutat on vaig estar es diu Vic i es troba a Catalunya, que és una regió d’Espanya.

Fino alle 8:30 ogni studente leggeva un libro che aveva portato o preso in prestito dalla scuola. Nel corso della giornata si facevano 2 pause di 20 e 15 minuti e c'erano varie alternative di svago. Durante la prima mezz'ora di lettura e per alcune materie come inglese, filosofia, catalano e spagnolo seguivamo le lezioni in classe. Per le altre materie come chimica, programmazione, matematica, tecnologia, fisica e educazione fisica andavamo negli appositi laboratori o in aule specifiche.

I went to school at "INSTITUT LA PLANA" from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 to 14:35, and I attended the class 1°Cr BAT.

Until 8:30, everyone read a book that they had either brought from home or borrowed from the school. During the day, there were two breaks of 20 and 15 minutes, with different ways to spend free time. During the first half hour of reading and for some subjects such as English, Philosophy, Catalan, and Spanish, we had lessons in the classroom. For other subjects like Chemistry, Programming, Mathematics, Technology, Physics, and Physical Education, we went to the appropriate laboratories or specific classrooms.

Anava a l’escola a l’"INSTITUT LA PLANA" de dilluns a divendres, de 8:00 a 14:35, i assistia a la classe de 1r Cr BAT.

Fins a les 8:30, cadascú llegia un llibre que havia portat de casa o agafat en préstec de l’escola. Al llarg del dia es feien dues pauses, una de 20 minuts i una altra de 15, amb diverses maneres d’entreteniment. Durant la primera mitja hora de lectura i en algunes assignatures com anglès, filosofia, català i castellà fèiem les classes a l’aula. Per a altres assignatures com química, programació, matemàtiques, tecnologia, física i educació física anàvem als laboratoris corresponents o aules específiques.

David (vicino a Ot) Lui è il padre di Ot e ha passato tanto tempo con me anche se lavorava tutte le notti. Ci ha accomunato la nostra passione per il calcio e ci siamo trovati subito in sintonia.

Iu (al centro) Lui è il fratello minore di Ot, è un ragazzo molto riservato e appassionato di videogiochi e arrampicata.

Silvia (a sinistra) Lei è la madre di Ot, impiega la maggior parte del suo tempo nella cura della casa.

Mia (non nella foto) Mia è il gatto di famiglia.

Nonna Sissi (non in foto) La madre di Silvia. Vive a Centelles, una piccolo paese distante 30 minuti da Vic, in una casa di riposo. Ogni weekend noi la andavamo a trovare e alloggiavamo nella sua casa di famiglia.

The family was made up of four members.

Ot (on the right): He is my Erasmus partner; his passions are studying and drawing.

David (next to Ot): He is Ot’s father, and he spent a lot of time with me even though he worked every night. We were brought together by our passion for football, and we immediately got along well.

Iu (in the center): He is Ot’s younger brother, a very reserved boy who is passionate about video games and climbing.

Silvia (on the left): She is Ot’s mother, and she devotes most of her time to taking care of the house.

Mia (not in the photo): Mia is the family cat.

Grandma Sissi (not in the photo): She is Silvia’s mother. She lives in Centelles, a small town about 30 minutes from Vic, in a nursing home. Every weekend we went to visit her and stayed in her former house.

La família estava formada per quatre membres.

Ot (a la dreta): Ell és el meu company d’Erasmus; les seves passions són estudiar i dibuixar.

David (al costat de l’Ot): És el pare de l’Ot i va passar molt de temps amb mi, tot i que treballava totes les nits. Ens va unir la nostra passió pel futbol i de seguida ens vam entendre bé.

Iu (al centre): És el germà petit de l’Ot, un noi molt reservat i apassionat pels videojocs i l’escalada.

Silvia (a l’esquerra): És la mare de l’Ot i dedica la major part del seu temps a cuidar la casa.

Mia (no surt a la foto): La Mia és el gat de la família.

Àvia Sissi (no surt a la foto): És la mare de la Silvia. Viu a Centelles, un petit poble a uns 30 minuts de Vic, en una residència. Cada cap de setmana l’anàvem a veure i ens allotjàvem a la seva antiga casa.
