In my article" Spuds or Duds" NASA wants to see if potatoes can be grown in harsh conditions like Mars. They use a dome to create the same atmosphere which is sand from the Pampas de las Joya desert. They are using potatoes because they are one of the healthiest foods and can be grown in many different conditions. Potatoes can be also grown underground. This is good because Mars has one-third of earth's gravity.
Central idea:
GMO's are altering some characteristics of potatoes so they can be grown in Mars- like conditions.
Supporting details:
- Can resist extreme drought, heat and cold.
- It is one of the healthiest foods packed with vitamin C, zinc, iron protein, and carbohydrates.

And now we don't know when they are there and when they're not 

 We cant do this to our food 

Central Idea: GMOs have beneficial and nonbeneficial effects on both the environment and its consumers. 

- Foods are tastier and more nutritious when they have gmos

- Gmos can cause environmental damage and health problems to its consumers

- Gmos are linked to allergic reactions

-Consuming foods with gmos is no riskier than consuming foods without them

Gmos are atrocious, awful and bad

They cause environmental damage which can be sad

They can also taste good and be more nutritious 

But under that taste gmos can be vicious 

Gmos can cause health problems for its consumers

But if they taste better then why not consume it 

Gmos surround us in everything we eat

So we better watch out even if they taste sweet
