I would like to remind families that if they are choosing to take a holiday during term time that they ensure that they notify school that they are absent with the genuine reason for absence. It is important that we know this for safeguarding matters.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our parents, carers and families for your understanding, flexibility and support this week following the earlier finish on Wednesday and the subsequent school closure on Thursday and Friday.

The decision to close the school was not taken lightly and involved careful consideration of a range of factors. We fully appreciate the disruption that these changes may have caused to family routines and childcare arrangements. However, as always, our priority is the safety, wellbeing and best interests of our children and staff.

We recognise that such decisions can be challenging but we are incredibly grateful for the patience, kindness and support shown by our school community throughout the week. Your understanding has been greatly appreciated and is a reflection of the strong partnership we share in ensuring the very best for our children.

Thank you once again for your continued support. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday and returning to our usual routines as soon as possible.
