         <description><![CDATA[<div>This case was the effect of smaller cases from federal courts arising in Kansas, South Carolina, Viginia, Delaware, and Washington D.C. relating to segregation of public schools revolving around race. In each case, it was stated that African American students were denied entry in these particular public schools. This case was brought up in the Supreme Court and the justices decided that this segregation violated the Equal Protection Clause of the Forteenth Amendment.</div>]]></description>

The reason they decided that it was unequal was because it violated the protections of the Equal Protection Clause of the Forteenth Amendment.</div>]]></description>
