Authoritarian leadership is where the leader controls the group and "dictates" everything that has to be done. Laissez-Faire leadership is where the leader is lenient and “loose” with the members.
Personally, I am a Democratic leader, since I place my trust with them to be able to carry through with their responsibilities. A leader is usually the representative of a group, meaning if the leader is not confident, how can the members be? I have been told countless times that I seem to never be confident or sure with anything. This means that if I can’t have confidence in myself, I cannot have confidence in my group.
