i believe that animals are trainable and not intelligent because with the horse you can tell the teacher trained it.now this doesn't go for every animal but it isn't that hard to train a dog to sit they remember the word or they know you'll give them a treat right after. The tone of your voice says a lot to it tells the animal what mood your in and what you want them to do your dog just doesn't sit when they know you won't give them a treat. In conclusion i believe animals can be trainable.

I believe that animals are trained because the animals seem like they are intelligent, but they were just trained and told what to do just like Hans was like in the text. I can prove this because Patent writes on lines 53-55," These animals seem to be behaving in an intelligent fashion, but they are just repeating behavior patterns they have been trained to perform for food rewards." This supports my answer because like always, animals will do anything for treats and they do whatever it takes to get it.

I believe animals are trainable. I know this because Patent says on line 91, 92, and 93, "His trainer unknowingly moved his head from side to side or up and down just enough for Hans to take cue as what to do."

I believe that animals are intelligent. In the story the dog never got told to hop the fence and save the girl. The dog just sensed that the girl was in danger and saved her. I believe that dogs are intelligent, but dogs can be even smarter if the were trained. The thing is, you can't teach a dog everything, they have to learn on their own. A dog can't remember everything either.

I believe that animals are intelligent because some animals may seem like there dumber than other because they don't succeed in an intelligent I know this because the text states,"Scientists have found that
different kinds of animals learn better under different sorts
of conditions, so the same experiment usually can’t be used
meaningfully on a rat and a pigeon. In addition, some animals
have evolved special mental skills to deal with their particular
environments. They might appear especially intelligent on one
measure of brain power and very dull on another." This proves that all animals have a different way to think things and it show that animals have different survival skills.

I believe that animals are intelligent. Patent said the article "First she licked the girl, then began circling around her, packing down the snow with her paws. Next, Villa stood still as a statue in front of the girl with her paws on the packed snow. The dog waited until Andrea grabbed her, then strained forward, pulling the girl from the drift.¨ This shows that Villa new exactly what to do in a situation like that even without training on what to do. It might be an instinct, but if Villa wasn't thinking, then she wouldn't have known the way to go or known exactly how to place herself so that Andrea could grab her.

I believe that animals can be trained. I believe this because animals like police dogs that sniff out drugs have a routine like lines in a movie with two different endings. And the dogs would not understand how drugs are illegal but do it because that is what they have been trained to do. It's the same with common pets. You would train them to go into a kennel as a safe spot. So as routine, at night they would go to their kennel to sleep.

I believe that animals are trained because my cat can sit like a dog and everyone thinks he is super intelligent because basically no cats can do that. They are trained because when they see treats he realizes "Oh she will only give me a treat if i do that one thing"On line 77 they will prove my point, as Patent wrote "they went away impressed Hans appeared to understand human language and mastered arithmetic" "Pfungst discovered was very sensitive about the smallest movements of the people watching," this proves the point that animals are trained to do things.
