CAPs 2024 They never cease to amaze me, not only in the implementation process but also in the response of the participating organizations. This new South American cohort has shown great interest and commitment to participation. 1) Peer exchange event in person with selected NEBF grantees to: • Promote peer-to-peer learning and the exchange of expertise and experience. • Enhance technical capacities through practical experience and real-life case studies. • Open space for donors and potential donors to interact directly and have a better sense of our work

What worked:
Coordination of two face-to-face courses: It was an achievement to organize the courses in Peru and Antigua Guatemala, they were large groups and there were no major problems

Immediate financial reports: They were able to deliver the reports the week following the completion of the courses.  A system has been achieved that is updated immediately and is ready at the end of the courses.

How might we better

Improve administrative systems and practices, dissemination with the team and systematically maintain the corresponding processes.

To further integrate the finances of the central office, the coordination and communication of the technical and financial part is important.

2025 aspirations

Expansion of CAI's work to other regions of LATAM and reach other sectors.

Create regional spaces to share work but mainly to build stronger and more impactful proposals in the region.
