Burgoyne, DMD, is a partner with Blue Ridge Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of Fishersville, Virginia, where she treats patients for conditions of the head, neck, face, and jaw. Honored by Our Health Magazine of the Shenandoah Valley with three Bedside Manner awards, Corey C. Burgoyne, DMD, earlier served at Commonwealth Oral and Facial Surgery in Richmond. In 2019 she was commended for her service to the profession by the Virginia Dental Association.

Dr. Burgoyne is also known for her service to patients with low incomes. She extracted wisdom teeth and performed other procedures at the Augusta County Dental Clinic, and has volunteered with dental missions in Central America, the Caribbean, and the United States. She is also a member of Rotary International.

Corey Burgoyne earned a BS with honors from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, including studying one year overseas at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands. She received her medical training at the Medical College of South Carolina and the Medical College of Virginia. In 2022, she obtained a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from the Curry School of Education at the University of Virginia. Her first professional position came at the office of Dr. Baxter Perkins of Richmond.

Board certified since 2010, Dr. Burgoyne has twice served as the president of the Shenandoah Valley Dental Association. She is also a member of the Virginia Dental Association and the American Dental Dissociation. She has published several journal articles on topics such as anesthetics and diagnostic imaging.
