Venezuela, or also known as Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela is a country located in South America that borders Columbia, Brazil, and G.U.Y. Caracas is Venezuela's capital which has a Federal Presidential Republic type of government. Its climate is hot and humid which attracts many animals and insects. Venezuela is near the equator which brings many exotic animals to the country. Due to global warming, Venezuela also brings some indigenous species to it's native land.

Record-low oil prices in the late 1990s deepened Venezuela's crisis. Claiming to represent the needs of the poor, Hugo Chavez was elected president by a large majority in the December 1998 elections. Chavez, who had led a coup attempt in 1992, began to transform Venezuela's political system after coming to office, promising complete social reform. Under a new constitution in 1999, Chavez dissolved the bicameral parliament, established a single National Assembly, and gave greater powers to the president. Since then Venezuela been in a downhill form

Venezuela is a country that contains many dangerous terrains. It is a country that suffers a lot from Natural Hazards due to floods, rockslides, and periodic droughts. This is cause which led Venezuela to have a Life Expectancy at Birth rate of 76 years. Venezuela depended on petroleum for the past 50 years. This led to a depression in Venezuela which is why Venezuela's GDP per capita is 12,400 $. Since most citizens live in an agricultural terrain, there most likely to be a farmer with low income. This leads to Venezuela's 26.4% Unemployment Rate.

For the past 20 years, Venezuela has had a major incline in violence and terrorism. Rates of crime increased rapidly during the presidency of Hugo Chavez due to the institutional instability of his Bolivarian government. By the time Chavez died in 2013, Venezuela was ranked the most insecure nation in the world by Gallup. Crime has also continued to increase under Chávez's successor, President Nicolas Maduro, who continued Chavez's policies that had disrupted Venezuela's socioeconomic status. By 2015, Venezuelans worried about the most according to polls, was the second largest concern compared to shortages in Venezuela. Crimes related to shortages and hunger increased shortly after, with growing incidents of looting occurring throughout the country. The majority of all crime in Venezuela remains unpunished according to Venezuela's Prosecutor General’s Office, with 98% of crimes in Venezuela not resulting in prosecution

The Venezuelan government is not in a state of collapse but it is nearing it each and each year. Many of the problems Venezuela face is mainly because of the government. There have been many riots over the past years against the government. The rise of Nicolas Maduro angered the majority of the Venezuelan people which may eventually occur into a civil war. Crime, kidnapping, and violence have increased rapidly throughout the years in Venezuela. Nicolas Maduro, President of Venezuela is often compared to Germany's Adolf Hitler back in the 40's due to them killing their political opposition.

Venezuela is likely the second most dangerous nation on earth, and with the situation of political, economic and social crisis set to worsen, escalating homicides are expected in 2019. Next Presidential elections are in 2019 but anything can happen because the country is stepping closer and closer to dictatorship. Though the Country is in the mist of crisis, there are still ways to help and support change in government and in special needs. You can start by engaging in Social-Media activism, boycott companies and outlets that support Chavismo, donate to NGOs that target the acute problems, participate in and support events that educate and show solidarity.
