Martin Luther King was a renowned American pastor of the Baptist Church and activist who did a crucial work in the United States, at the forefront of the civil rights movement for African Americans and who, in addition, participated as an activist in numerous protests against the Vietnam War and poverty in general. From a young age, he lived the experience of a segregationist society: When he was six, two white friends announced that they weren't allowed to play with him. He entered Morehouse College, an university reserved for young black men, at age 15 without graduating from high school.
