I wonder if I am going to be the teacher I have always inspired to be. 
I hear the sounds of the keyboard as I am typing this poem. 
I see the work that God has done in my life to get me to where I am today. 
I want to be the best that I can be.
I am optimistic and reliable.

 I pretend to have it all together, but inside I know that there are areas that I am struggling in. 
I feel that I can accomplish anything that I set my mind too. 
I touch the lives of my students on Wednesday nights when I teach them about God.  
I worry that I will not meet the expectations that I have for myself. I cry when I am feeling overwhelmed and don’t know any other way to express how I am feeling.  
I am optimistic and reliable.  

 I understand that every day is not going to go as planned. 
I say that “I can do all things through Christ who gives my strength” Philippians 4:13.  
I dream of the teacher that I will be. 
I try to not get overwhelmed, stay positive, and be kind. 
I hope that I am making those that love me proud.  
I am optimistic and reliable.
