I would definitely recommend this book if you like real things that can happens. Because of Mr. Terupt is the first book in its series. She leaves her father, older brother, and best friend behind and moves in with her mother's brother's family in Cincinnati, Ohio. She worries a lot about her brother who is fighting in the war in Syria and also feels very lonely starting middle school in the U.S. and struggling to learn English. At first, Jude is shy but also angry about the way she is treated, especially when she experiences racist comments and behavior. But Jude is brave and strong, and she shows the courage that would make her family proud of her.
If you like reading about characters who are close to your age and who face some different challenges but also some very familiar challenges that many American kids deal with, this is a good book for you to try.
I really liked the character Jude. She is brave and strong and she faces lots of difficult things but she tries to be brave remembering her brother and the war in Syria. I also like the way new friendships in the story help make life easier for Jude.

I really really liked this book since it was super suspenseful and I never knew what was going to happen next. And the characters practically come to life. If you read this book, everything will seem boring afterwards since Sophie’s life is so eventful. Sophie is such a brave character who faces a lot of challenges and meets a lot of new people in her journey. 

Another book that is similar to this could be Harry Potter since they are both long, mysterious fantasy books. And, like Harry Potter, both books are part of a series.

Quick summary of the book - don’t spoil the ending!
In The Dollar Kids, Lowen Grover moves to a new town with his Dad, Mom, sister, and brother. They are selling houses for 1 dollar and they buy one. But when his Dad moves back to the city, Lowen’s Mother opens a pasty shop and tries to make a living. Lowen makes friends at school. What did you like about this book?
It was a real window for me because when I have moved, I had to do a lot of things like paper work and packing, but in The Dollar Kids, not a lot of preparation is involved.

After a amazing shot by greg when he throws his trash in someone’s trash, he decides to play basketball. ( after that shot everyone tried to do it on him, so every lunch he be pelted by trash). Greg hefly as i like to call him, THE LUCKIEST PERSON EVER!. I call him this because he sucks at all basketball, but mad a backwards full court shot, int a swish. What I liked about this book is that the twelve’s struggle  for freedom against the Dragonlord, the powers that all zodiac warriors have, and the action of battles. I would recommend this book to fantasy lovers because their is a lot of powers and a fight between good and evil, like most fantasy books are about. This is one of my favorite books and the story will stay with you after you read it.

I like this book this because you can feel for the there’s characters. I think readers would like this if they laid realistic fiction and being able to understand the characters. I think both of us and watch this or home of the brave and other words for home they’re both refugees or were refugees and now are figuring out how to make things better. What I like about this book was it focused more on friendship, instead of school. I would recommend this book to readers who have read Frindle, or to readers who like drama.

I like that this book teaches you about Greek god history but the story is based in more modern times. I also like that there are secrets that you have to discover throughout the book and other books in the series. I would recommend this book to people who like Greek gods and realistic fiction. Also if you like adventure (and a little bit of romance). Some books that are similar to this one are other books by Rick Rorden, Harry Potter, Keeper of the Lost Cities, Rangers Apprentice. If you do, you should read Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer By John Grisham. This book is about a kid named Theodore Boone, or Theo for short. Theo  loves law and stuff but he lives in a little town called Strattenburg, Pennsylvania, so there isn’t much crime and law. But, Pete Duffy has just been accused of murdering his wife. Pete obviously did it, but there isn’t enough evidence to convict him. Theo is exited to watch the trial, but even more exited when he finds out he know the only person who has hard evidence to put him to justice. I liked how this book is about law and court. The wolf starts out telling the group that they’re going to go good and are trying to change their bad ways in the entire group was just kind of OK with the thing but they followed along. First they tried saving the cat that was stuck on a tree and they barely got it down. Then The wolf decided to save 200 dogs from a pound. I liked this book Series because there’s always some form of plot twist that keeps you interested in the series. I think that just a reader who likes action, and hilarious characters this is the book for you. But she’s not that good and has trouble fitting in. She’s not that good compared to the older girls. Finally she makes a friend and gets better at roller skating. She does good in the roller derby, which is like a roller skating competition.
