Many schools agree that uniforms help remove economic barriers, build feelings of community, and reduce instances of bullying.

1. School uniforms promote learning. We believe our students’ focus should be on what they are learning and not on what they are wearing. 
2. School uniforms nourish a sense of equality. When students have similar expectations for dress, unhealthy competitive feelings about looks are reduced. Students can stand out because of their character and not their clothes. 
3. School uniforms make it easier to get ready for school. One of the best reasons for school uniforms? No more indecision about what to wear in the morning!

Also, it can be costly to buy school uniforms. Parents have little control over how much they must spend on their children's clothing.
