Leaves contain chlorophyll, which is a green-colored pigment located within organelles called chloroplasts. Chlorophyll acts as an energy receptor, capturing light to undergo the process of photosynthesis and turn it into chemical energy, producing organic molecules such as glucose. Leaves absorb CO2 from the air and combine it with water from the roots to create food and release oxygen for us to breathe. 🥰

For week 1 we are required to register for Khan Academy, it was my first time using the platform Khan Academy to submit tasks or quizzes given by the lecturer, and for me quite more fun instead to using google classroom. Other than that, we are assigned to do homework based on google spreadsheets. For task week 1, we need to watch the online learning video on youtube for the topic metabolism, the law of thermodynamics, and Redox reactions, thus conclude the learning by doing our own notes using various ways such as mindmap, infographic, sketching etc... to be upload in our eportfolio. Today is our first meeting together discussing on what are the plan that we want to monitor for biochemistry RF project. Roughly, we come ideas on monitor the changes in body weight and measurements effects of our body muscle lost during RF. Ira and Shazreen are the subject data. The metabolism pathways influence in weight & measurements lost and hormonal effects during RF are included in our discussion using platform Jamboard & guidelines questions in ggspreadsheet.
Dr. Shahkinaz also contributed in brain-storming ideas together ^^

We learn how to remember things by taking notes as soon after reading the slide given by Dr. Shake. Dr asked to sketch using our own graphic/infographic about fed state vs fasted state vs starvation state & then compared the answer in groups. Then, we do some quizzes to answer some questions related to all the states.
