         <description><![CDATA[<div>Aluminum is a chemical element with a symbol Al (from Latin : alumen meaning "bitter salt") and atomic number 13. It is a ductile metal in the boron group of the periodic table. It is obtained chiefly from the aluminum ore bauxite and it is yielded to a white powder from which aluminum can be extracted. It is a tin-white metal that melts at 640 degrees and it is really light that has a density of 2.68. It is a really good conductor of heat and electricity and can be rolled into tinfoil considering it is stiff and strong. It was used by the Romans and the Ancient Greeks&nbsp; that date back to almost 100BC.&nbsp; It was apparently used as a bright red dye and an astringent to help heal wounds and cuts.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Argon is a chemical element with a symbol of Ar and the 18th element of the periodic table. It originates from the Greek word  ἀργόν meaning lazy or inactive. Argon is apart of group 18 and is the most abundant noble gas in the Earth's crust. Argon is produce by the fractional distillation of liquid air . Argon has many convenient uses. It can be used to start fluorescent glows. Its atmosphere is used in graphite electric furnaces and prevents the graphite from burning. It's also used as a inert shielding gas in wielding and other high-temperature industrial processes where ordinarily nonreactive substances become reactive.  Argon has 8 electrons in the outer shell that make it stable and compatible with other elements.</div>]]></description>

Humphry Davy isolated it from magnesia and mercuic oxide in 1808. The bonding is simply known as molecular bonding, in which the metal atoms do not hold onto their most weakly held electrons, and the atoms become positive ions. Is flammable, so one of its main uses is for flares and fireworks. The metal is too weak to be used as a pure metal, so it is mixed with alloys like steel. Steel contains about 1% manganese, to increase the strength and also improve workability and resistance to wear.</div><div>Manganese steel contains about 13% manganese. This is extremely strong and is used for railway tracks, safes, rifle barrels and prison bars.</div><div>Drink cans are made of an alloy of aluminium with 1.5% manganese, to improve resistance to corrosion like rust.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Copper is chemical element with symbol Cu (from Latin Cuprum ) and atomic number 29 . It is coinage metal in group 11 of the periodic table. It is obtained chiefly from the&nbsp; ores cuprite (CuO2), tenorite (CuO), malachite (CuO. Cu(OH)2), chalcocite (Cu2S), covellite (CuS) and bornite (Cu6FeS4).Used in large amounts by the electrical industry in the form of wire, copper is second only to <a href="http://education.jlab.org/itselemental/ele047.html">silver</a> in electrical conductance. Since it resists corrosion from the air, moisture and seawater, copper has been widely used in coins. Although once made nearly entirely from copper, American pennies are now made from <a href="http://education.jlab.org/itselemental/ele030.html">zinc</a> that has been coated with copper.
