I was born with an auto immune disorder, which is a rare disease that involved several surgical procedures and painful tests to reduce my symptoms. This is a lifelong sickness that can't be cured but was helped when I was younger when I was treated at MUSC Health, where I found community, my faith, and love for design.

I found my voice, through my love of worshiping the Lord through song. With my auto immune disease, it was painful to speak when I was younger. Although when I found my voice and it came to singing, I found comfort. I rejoiced by singing in the church. With this my love for the church grew and I spent a lot of my life doing community service, missions, and more to spread God's word. My faith is the cornerstone of everything that I do. This is due not only because God sent his only son to die on the cross for my sins, but also because my father in heaven put a miracle on my life and to spread my testimony. In fact, I accomplished this by becoming an outreach officer, hype team leader, and small group leader for FCA of all four years of High School.

I always sat behind everyone watching my brother, who joined several sports teams, because I used to be the shy and nervous to try new things due to risk of getting sick, although when I joined the choir, I found my people. The ones who used their God-given gift to create perfect harmonies. I have taken seven years of chorus, but I have been singing since I was 7 years old with a background in piano. Singing has always brought confort and peace, so I continue to be in choir within college.

Resilience is very important to me. My life motto is always to get back up again no matter how hard life hits you, because God has a plan for you whether or not you can see it now or not. I have learned through life that there are challenges, but you need to stay strong, confident, and assertive and to stand out as a Christain no matter how hard you are pushed the other way.

Oceans by Hillsong United is my favorite worship song. Its line those states "where feet may fail and fear surrounds me; you never fail and you won't fail now" reminding me that no matter how hard the triumph God has always pushed through and made a path for me.

My favorite movie is The Shack. I got introduced to it by my dad, because him and I love to watch movies together but specifically religious ones that tug at your heart.

My other favorite is Miracles from Heaven.

But I love The Shack specifically because it shows through the main character that by traveling through profound revelations as he has to work through his grief and beliefs alongside themes of faith, forgiveness, and complexities of grief to always have grace, understanding, and forgiveness, which are my beliefs.

Since I was younger, I knew I wanted to become an Interior Designer; I walked kindergarten graduation telling everyone I'm going to become one and promised them that. I believe I am meant to be an Interior Designer. Even before Kindergarten I started my passion for interior design by designing layouts, furniture, and more before any surgery because it would give me sense of sureness and peace. I have learned that the environment you are within, the layout and look of a space, and the sustainability along with accessibility is the most important and can mean something different to every individual.
