         <description><![CDATA[<div>The government name in the Czech Republic is Czechia. The Czech Republic is a parliamentary democracy. The chief of state is the president, and the head of government is the prime minister. Miloš Zeman is the president and chief of state, Andrej Babiš is the prime minister and the head of government. The constitution of Czechia was adopted in 1922. The constitution dictates the main powers of the executive, legislative, and judicial branches. It Also details  the Supreme Control Office, the Czech National Bank, and Territorial Self-Government.          <description><![CDATA[<div>The president is the head of state and has many powers. The president can appoint and recall the prime minister, sign enacted laws, negotiate and confirm international treaties, and is the commander in chief of the armed forces. The prime minister is the head of government. The prime minister exercises supreme executive power. "The prime minister also has the right to set the agenda for most foreign and domestic policy, mobilize the parliamentary majority, and choose governmental ministers." The president is elected by the majority vote through a two-round system. The prime minister is appointed by the president.          <description><![CDATA[<div>The supreme court is the highest court of appeals. Supreme Court judges are presented by the chamber of deputies. The president appoints the Supreme Court judges. When you are elected into the Supreme court you are there for a life appointment. "In the legislative branch the parliament holds and passes bills, has the right to modify the constitution, ratifies international agreements, declares war, approves presence of foreign military forces in Czechia, and dispatches of Czech military forces abroad." The senate has 81 members elected by absolute majority vote. The chamber of deputies has 200 members elected through a flexible-list proportional representation system. The election cycle in the Senate is 6 years.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Before the Czech Republic declared its independence from Slovokia, they were one country together known as Czechoslovakia. In 1993 the federal state of Czechoslovakia was split into Czech Republic and Slovakia. The new Czech Prime minister began to push for the privatization of the public section. "In 1999 the Czech Republic became a member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO)." "In 2004 after the formal invitation in 2002 and the vote on the referendum in favor to join the European union (EU) in 2003, the Czech Republic joins the EU." In 2007 the Czech Republic becomes part of the EU's Schengen region, which allows free movement in the EU.          <description><![CDATA[<div>The Czech Republic has a population 10,591,323 for the year of 2017. 15.37%  of the population is ages 0 to 14, 65.6% of the population is ages 15 to 64, and 19.03% of the population is ages 65+. The life expectancy at birth in the Czech Republic is about 78 years as of 2016. The Czech republic generated 77 billion kWh as of 2016, and they consumed 62 billion kWh. The Czech Republic produces 19 thousand barrels of oil per day, and they consume 214 thousand barrels of oil per day. The Czech Republic receives imports of 142.5 thousand barrels of oil a day. The Czech Republic is located in Central Europe, between Germany, Poland, Slovokia, and Austria. The total area of Czechia is 78,867 sq. km, 77,247 sq. km of that area is land while 1,620 sq. km is water area.
