Packed with jokes and comic one liners - I particularly loved the opening with the awful teachers, the scenes with Hermes, who is a fab only-way-is-Essex-type character. The scenes between Elliot and his mum were touching, loving and heartbreaking at the same time, and this aspect of the book was so well balanced with the humour and absurdity of the Gods.
Side note: you know a book’s good when you’re changing your fav character every 2 pages, because they’re all amazing!!
