Having an older(and wiser) person to depend on for advice and guidance to reliable campus resources helped me juggle a busy schedule with a solid social life and some important extracurriculars. As someone who tends to have panic attacks when things go awry, my peer mentor played an important role in helping me find the right qualified resources to help cope with the amount of stress college life can have. I was inspired to apply as a peer mentor to help others with their transition to A&M(as it can be a little overwhelming at times), and I hope to make some positive friendships with incoming freshmen!

I have always been a helpful person since I was small. I began by helping my mom in the kitchen, then joining the Girl Scouts and beginning my journey in service. Because not everyone shares the same struggles. I have overcome struggles that affect many freshman, and letting them know that there are others who struggle in similar ways can be a huge relief.
