They’ll be waiting around for ages getting worried. With a cell phone, you can call them to explain the situation. Now, they can hold tight without being concerned. 

The same goes for instances where they may need to get hold of you. Without a cell phone, the only other option is a payphone. Needless to say, most of these are now extinct. So, to save you from worrying, they can pick up their phone, send a text, and everything is okay.

The connectivity attached with smartphone use cannot be the same as the genuine connection which the parent and child are meant to have. Children are still passing through a period of growth, and you need to establish your relationship with them. With smartphones, you have speed and instant answers available; yet this could lead to your kids making bad choices in the long run.

First we learn about technology; about how to use the mobile phone. Second most phones today have apps (programs) to enable learning using the phone, or else through the internet. Phones can access online courses and lessons which can be provided in fun ways and can in some cases instantly tell you if you have the right answer. It may even sometimes be possible to do homework on a phone and send it to your teacher. Even without the internet phones can be used to provide short assignments, or to provide reminders to study.

It also allows them to be responsible for various forms of communication and teaches them to let someone in charge know if they are going to be late for appointments or even arriving home.

These habits eventually carry over in their workplace, once they’re employed.
