I believe that not all students learn the same way and that it is up to me to be prepared to teach in different ways and styles to accommodate every student. A good teacher must be open-minded and open-hearted. This will help me to be educated in the potential diversity of my class so that I can be the example those kids mimic. The kind of example where they treat everybody with the respect they deserve and accept that different is neither bad or wrong. Classroom Rules:
1. Be Kind
2. Always listen and follow directions.
3. Stay on task.
4. Raise your hand when you want to speak.
5. Make good choices.
-Classroom rules are placed in order to ensure that all my students can have a safe learning environment. Routines such as how we line up, to transitions from one activity to the next will be taught during the first day of school. I believe that having set rules and procedures allow your child to have a positive learning experience.
Consequences:
1. Talk with student
2. Apology to peers or teacher
3. Clip down on behavior Chart
4. loss of privileges
5. Contact parents
- The consequences I set for my classroom are s set in place so that every student can learn that they have choices, and with every choice, they make there is consequence attach to it whether it is good or bad. These consequences allow me to have control of the classroom in order to operate it smoothly.
Reward System:
-A reward system is a good idea in order to keep students motivated to follow the rules and procedures. A reward system that I plan to use is the type of reward that is made up and created to adequately reward my students. This includes a treasure chest full of prizes that students can pick from.

As third graders, We will be learning to the Arizona state standards for math, reading, writing, and social studies you can find more detail info in the Az standard website:

 Policies:
Late work will be unacceptable if students do not have a valid reason. Should there be a reason parents must contact me in order to make arrangements. If your child is struggling please contact me so that we can arrange one on one time before or after school.
Tardiness impacts their participation. It is important for students to be on time every day. Being tardy disrupts other students and their learning! please be considerate.
 Grades:
  Homework must be completed by Friday. Students will receive homework packets Monday with assign homework for the day. It must be completed by Friday and turn in. If students fail to complete homework packet they will have to give up their recess in order to complete their homework.
Grades will be the reflection of how well the student performs academically, their homework and their behavior and participation.
