Collision – Occur when two plates of similar densities move together e.g. Himalayas

Conservative- When two plates slide past each other creating huge earthquakes e.g San Antonio fault

Constructive- When two plates move apart and magma spills out creating a volcano.

Destructive- When two collide and due to pressure one of the plates go under creating large mountains.

Earthquakes- Earthquakes form when the earth's outer layer gets stressed. The stressing of the outer layer causes a pushing effect against the sides of the fault. Rocks collide which causes energy, which creates waves through earths crust. These waves are the shaking that we feel.
