Every country had blamed Germany for all of the destruction, for starting the war, and more. So, Germany had to pay some countries back because of the damage, including France, their neighbor. Millions, maybe billions payed off, and that's not all. There was also an agreement that Germany should not have an army, military equipment or any weapons. So, that made Germany a poor country. Then, this man names Adolf Hitler saw the need, and he blamed everything on the Jews; losing the war, being broke, everything! Then, he ran to be head leader. At first, he wasn't that popular. Only 3%. But he believed it was the Jews, so he tried again. Then 13%, but finally, he had enough votes to be in charge. Hitler had everything planned out. He first started putting up propaganda, so everyone else would hate Jews. There was even a book for little kids called The Poisonous Mushroom, about how they should stay away from them. He then was making weapons, he burned every Jewish book and music, and even get this. A Jewish church caught on fire and burned to ashes, even though there was a fire station down the street! But, that's not enough for him. He wanted the Jews to pay for what they have done, so he started building concentration camps. He was evading other neighboring countries to set up more camps, to throw all of the Jews, and anyone who didn't have blonde hair or blue eyes, and who had a Jewish background in their blood. Thus, leading to the holocaust. Adolf Hitler wanted to me leader too. later on it turns out that Hitler was the new leader. when he was the new leader he hated Jews because he thought that the Jews lost ww1 meaning, Germany lost because of Jews. so he built some camps so the Jews could suffer. at first he would say "pack up all of your stuff (value) then move here to this camp. and when the did that he took their stuff and killed them, so at first the Jews thought that the Nazi were a good thing. but later on they figured that it not so good after all. so after all of that blah blah blah, when it was over ww2 happen because of Hitler. - chelyse.a.n.
