Socrative is free web tool designed to run quizzes. It is divided into two interfaces: Teacher and Student. Students receive a password for a virtual room accessing them through a browser or mobile app.
It's a great tool in situations where a teacher wants to allow students, for example, to repeat some content before they can be tested or tested at the end of the lesson.
Students do not have to create user accounts and thus are better protected.
