I'd prefer this book to be ages 10 and up. I'm on Sign of the moon in the series and i think its great but slightly annoying. He has terrible flashbacks on how she ran away and got crushed by rocks. I like this quote because he's saying how he didn't want to be reminded of his sister's death constantly. The impact is that it left all the clans paranoid and having trust issues towards the other clans. They've gotten dreams from their ancestors saying to seperate and save only yourself. This caused the medicine cats to stop visiting eachother. This stopped clans from cooperating with eachother. I chose this because the whole book is basically trying to help others. The clan sends a few cats to go to the tribe of rushing water to find that they needed help. Dovewing's sister, Ivypool, helped the three by spying on the dark forest for them. The main three help the clans defeat the dark forest by using the powers given to them by starclan, which is the heaven for this book. The clans helped each other before starclan drove them apart.
