The media I consume allow me to connect with people, ideas, and concepts I don't normally come across with during physical interactions. In the perspective of the books I read, I can say that it intellectually help me gain more knowledge on anything academic, personal values and ethics, and even in simple trivias. You might be shocked when I tell you that I can say the same thing about the things I consume online. To be honest, I am actually capable of what media to trust. I also handpick what type of things I will consume online. I also engage in healthy conversations with ny friends if ever I come across things that are just not right. Having been online since forever, I did not lack the awareness of the harms of social media. Despite being exposed to so much media, I never made things that I know are not healthy a part of my medie diet. As you can observe on my albums, it is mostly some cute little things that only adds spice in one's personality and not behavioral issues that may affect their social life. In fact, most creators I follow are one's I know are nit serious when they post funny videos on social media, or they are people who boost the audience's confidence in a healthy manner online. Overall, I am pretty healthy online.

Despite being 18, I still love my cartoons. I still watch Pucca, Hello Kitty, Looney Tunes, Sofia the First, any Disney movie and animates series. Watching children shows relaxes me in times of great stress (like during exams). Fun fact, I had a ton of Hello Kitty plushies before that I sleep with every night. In fact, I still sleep with one big Hello Kitty stuffed toy!

I totally love rewatching Me Before You, Dune, Black Swan, Little Women, Scott Pilgrim vs the world, Pretty Woman, When Harry Met Sally, Pretty in Pink, and Mamma Mia. Hey don't judge! I love my romcoms! I maybe a romantic because of these romcoms.

I don't play any sports, however I love watching it. Some sports I enjoy are volleyball, tennis, golf, and formula series. Also, some of my favorite formula 1 drivers are Carlos Sainz and Lewis Hamilton. I was really shocked when it was announced that Lewis is moving to Ferrari. What a twist! But nothingwill beat how much I cried when Roger Federer announced that he will be retiring as a professional tennis player.

Spending so much time on my phone it makes it impossibel for me not to have a favorite content creators. Some that I will never get tired of are fashion content creators, Ash (bakes on tiktok), Josh & Matt, Bretman Rock and nurse.john. Their content are so calming, so easy to watch, non harmful and toxic, and they project themselves on social media in such an upright and well-mannered, some qualities I need to work on. Another fan fact, I became a Bretman Rock fan when I was in 5th grade, almost 8 years ago!

Of course, as a Filipino I love OPM. Some artist I can't get enough of during karaoke are Apo Hiking Society, Parokya ni Edgar, Nina, Eraserheads, The Ransom Collective, IV of Spades, and Lola Amour. I think we both can see that I love a good guitar rift just by looking at these artisit.

Growing up, my parents showered my with books rather than toys. Sure, I had stuffed toys and a couple of Barbies but my parents never enjoyed seeing me with toys. That is why I enjoy reading about random facts about people, places, and history. I also love being with my cousins back in my grandparent's house. We go there every summer.

As I enter a new age, my morning routine has evolved from getting changed by my mom to me putting on make up. Every morning I wake up, take a bath, change into my clothes (or uniform during school days), visit Tiktok and Instagram, do my skincare, eat breakfast, brush teeth, wait for my dad, get in the car, and do my makeup in the car before arriving in school. I also enjoy small talks in the morning, I love giving my parents updates on my life.

I like these media as I believe this is what speaks to me alot. It is almost like the different dimensions of myself. These are where I spend most of my time each day, so this is my extended self other than who I am in person. Not only that this allows me to see what is happening around the world, have access to different things i dont normally get taught about in school (some hygiene tips i didnt know about, socializing skills, diys, wellness, news, fashion, etc.), to explore outside of my comfort zone without having to exert myself physically to such ideas and concepts. Not only that, I believe that I have a balanced media consumption where I am not only consuming nonsense online but I am also reading books physically. On another note, these media are different from the media my friends consume. Sure there are similarities in the fact that we all have socia media, read books, and listen to music but we all consume different contents. And that is one thing I like about being online, that I am able to like things I like without being pressured to be like others. Therefore, all these media are somethings I decided for myself and with that I can say that it truly id an extension of who I am.

As an addition, here are some things I do not appreciate in social media. I am aware of the purpose of media, however some people do abuse their access to it which can lead to things that can harm people. To start, many people romantacize toxic ideals or sharing thoughts that purposefully excludes and belittles people regardless of gender, nationality, age, and educational backgorund. I never understood why people just have to share such ideas and making themselves look superior even when they are just ruining someone's image for their 5-second internet fame. Another is when kids are getting sexualized on the internet. Lastly, when children are idolozing adult content creators and copying them in real life. In no way should a child copy an adult. With what have been stated, social media users and most especially parents should learn how dangerous how social media can be when they fail how to be media literate.

As of the moment, I am very into pop music. So I have been listening to alot of Ariana Grance, Beyonce, Rihanna, Pit Bull, Drake, Travis Scott, and Malcolm Todd. Other than this, I also enjoy listening to alternative rocks and mellows some artists I love are The1975, Lorde, Junni, and Sade. My music taste is vast that there are no artist that sound the same! This allows me to enjoy music that matches any mood and situation that I am in at the moment.
