CAS- Reflection at heart
One must see reflection as a mean of improvement and personal growth, not reasons for self-blame. The end result will be improvements if one has this goal in mind.
Reflecting may require one to pause and readjusting one’s focus. It may require one to reexamine oneself, one’s bias, or one’s view of others. It requires one to not only look at the “colored” part of life/oneself, but the gaps in between also. From the picture above, if the gap was viewed as a void then we will have two pictures, each can stand alone and representing a separate story. However, doing so we are losing at least two other perspectives, which could make all the difference in terms of meaning. This is an excellent thought about the process of reflection.
